Just last weekend, April 10th to April 13th (2008), we went to SuZhou for the ACAMIS Badminton competition. The trip was incredibly entertaining, from the music in the back of the bus coming from the portable speakers, to in-game jokes, to hotel skirmishes wit giant teddy bears, all the way back to BeiJing. But not only did we have fun, we came first in the whole tournament fo ACAMIS! (Though, I'm in the WAB2 team, and the WAB1 team won first place, but they're still our school!)

But actually, the doubles that I was in placed 4th (through many strokes of good fortune, but hey, luck is part of the game, no?), ONE PLACE below getting a trophy (for 3rd place). I had only been playing with my doubles partner for about a week though, so supposedly we did incredibly well for our time as team-mates. Being the only team to get a game off the first place doubles, it'll be our goal to defeat them next year, yeah :D.
