Stevie was a girl lost in her concerns
Moving day to day alone
She seemed to miss what she should have learned
The boys and girls had cast the stone
Looking ahead to nothing new
Instead she stayed, painfully aware
She wore coats of colors, but was drawn to blue
Friends nor family seemed to care
The girl that was living to die
Had a secret so great it remained untold
A bastard father with a big lie
His intrusions with her until shes old
No sorrow, no sadness, no hatred, just madness
Won't anybody rescue me?
No sorrow, no sadness, no hatred, just madness
Won't anybody rescue me?
Stevie grew up in a gasping breath
Her father behind her at last
Her scars stayed forever, until death
It was him who paved this path
Redemption, redemption, she asked
A savior was what she wanted
But her scars wore like a mask
Her life is forever haunted
No sorrow, no sadness, no hatred, just madness
Won't anybody rescue me?
No sorrow, no sadness, no hatred, just madness
Won't anybody rescue me?
