I happened to come across this little rant when I was looking for Korman's corporate office to contact them about what a positive experience I had with the Harrisburg location. I normally would not even care about something like this, but they were so helpful there that I feel it is only right to defend them against the crazy stuff this person is saying.
Most of the things the author of this blog said are false. I was in a bind about a month ago & needed a place quick. Korman Communities got an apartment ready for me in about 3 days & everything was great. When someone in the building was moving out and was giving away free furniture, one of the office girls called me immediately & gave me the information because she knew I needed stuff. Another time, I had an emergency & had to leave in a hurry, in the middle of doing my laundry. I called & told the office about it & they actually got my clothes out of the dryer & put them in my room for me. Do you know many places that would do that?
As for parking, it is not great, but they were very honest with me about it when I toured with them. I knew what the parking would be when I signed my lease & any one who says they didn’t is not very smart. The building is clean & the outside grounds are some of the nicest in Harrisburg. I don’t really think an apartment building can control whether or not drugs are being sold in the neighborhood, but I have never seen it happening. It’s not perfect, but tell me one place that is.
When you go to apartment ratings, it is clear that the same person is posting bad comments over & over. It looks to me like an unhappy resident with WAY too much time on their hands. If this person really is an “attorney” or a “president of a company” as they say they are, I highly doubt they would have the time to spend hours & hours making blogs & web pages against an apartment building. I have nothing but good things to say about them & think a person should go check Korman out for themselves before listening to someone who cuts & pastes comments from 4 years ago (when the building was not even under the same management) and then pretends like it was posted last week. Get a life!
