This December, two years ago, marks the two-year relationship between Leon and Gaile.

When the couple first appeared together, their relationship was made public and immediately there was speculation by the media that this couple will even last a year.  In particular, a fortune-teller came forward and predicted that the couple will not last six months, given their age difference -- Gaile then 25 and Leon 39.

Frankly, the media sometimes disgust me. They love the fact that celebrity couples break up, so they could analyze on what happens, make predictions, and make a big deal out of the breakup.  They basically celebrate on the sorrow of celebrities - how pathetic that can be?

All things said, Leon seems determined to break the fortune-teller's prediction.  The relationship went beyond six months, a year, and into the third year now.  Both have been very discreet about their relationship and appearance in public.  When both were seen in public together -- be it at a restaurant or watching a movie, newspaper splashed news that Leon has made this relationship a high profile but what if they try to avoid the public eyes? Well, the media will accuse Leon of an underground relationship!  Hello, what is this guy supposed to do?
