i thought the same things about blogging for a long time... but, when you really think about it... if you have a whole website full of self-centered people blogging, no one will get their ego satisfied because everyone is focusing only on themselves... so, after you realize you won't get any attention from anyone else unless you're a mirror, you turn to what you should have in the first place... self expression as a form of relaxation. So even if someone does start to blog for the wrong reasons, everyone else's selfishness will turn them around in no time and they'll realize no one really cares about them. It's great isn't it? =P
