Of the Miracles of Mohamed prayer and peace upon him

Cooked Sheep Tells him of being Poisoned

Mohamed Ibn Is, Haq, Muslim and others narrated:

After opening (taking) the town of Khyber in Arabia, a Jewish woman gave Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him a cooked sheep which she put poison in its flesh.   She added an extra-amount in the shoulder which is the part Allah’s messenger liked most.  As he was starting to eat the shoulder, he told his companions who joined him in the meal to left their hands off the sheep saying: “This sheep tells me that it is poisoned”. 

 Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him and his companions were saved except for a companion called Beshr Ibn Al-Braa, who have eaten some of it and died.

Here we see the killed and cooked sheep informing Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him that it is poisoned to save him.
