Of the Miracles of Mohamed prayer and peace upon him

Water from Rocks for 30 Thousands

Ibn Is, haq and Ibn Hesham narrated about the expedition to Tabouk, in which the Muslim army was thirty thousand men:

On the way, there was place where water dripped from stones, collecting enough water for one to three men, in a valley called the valley of Moshaqaq.  Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “Any one who gets to this valley before us, do not drink any of its water until we arrive”.   Two hypocrites got there first and drank all the water. When Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him reached the valley, he did not find any water, he said: “Who reached this water before us?”  He was told: “These two men”, and was told their names.  Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him was told their names.  He cursed them.  Then he got of his ride, and put his hand under the rocks, and water poured down on his hands, then he washed the stones with it and rubbed it with his hand and said Dawaa as much as Allah willed him to.  Water gushed out with a sound like thunder.  All people drank, watered their animals and carried what they want of water.  Then Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “Whoever will live long enough of you, you will hear about this valley being the most fertile of all the land around”.

When Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him washed the rocks and rubbed it with his hands, water gushed out from the rock with force which sounded like thunder.  This water watered thirty thousand men, their animal and they carried all they could of water.  Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him told them that this area will be the most fertile meaning planted and green area around.

This certainly was one of the Miracles Mohamed prayer and peace upon him performed.
