| Junky vs Nasty |
I'm in the midst of moving right now but I had to jump online and do a quick blog. Since Friday I have been moving things into the house. I have to be honest and say there is going to be some butting of heads in the next few days. See there is junky people and then there is nasty junky people. Let me explain the difference.
Junky people are the type that may have some clothes on the floor or papers everywhere that they just refuse to throw out. The excuse they usually give is I might need that. LOL. I'm one of those people but eventually I let it go and then the place is clean again. I pick up the clothes when I'm ready to wash them. I wash the dishes ONCE during the day and anything after that is washed the next day. Although I do at least put water on them and let them soak in soapy water so nothing will dry up on the dish. But overall I am a neat person. I have junky days but my clean days outweigh my junky days. Mostly because I can't stand to see shit on the floor but for so long.
Nasty junky people are exactly like junky people but with a disgusting twist. They are the type to leave food in a bowl on the table for a month even after it has grown mold and refuse to wash it. This person will continue to wear clothes long past the funky stage because they are too lazy to wash it. This person will let dishes sit in the sink with food in it until the dish just gets up and walks away. I'm not talking about bits of food I'm talking chicken bones, and half-eaten mashed potatoes and the such. Their room smells of mold and feet. Its just sickening. Well during the process of moving I have found that my roommate falls into this category.
I have made it clear that I am not a maid, nor a laundress, nor a provider for anyone but myself and my son. If you don't buy food...you don't eat. I, however, have taken over the responsibility of washing the dishes in exchange for him taking out the trash. I personally hate doing that task and I will do whatever I have to do to keep from taking it out. LOL. He hates washing dishes and will do whatever to avoid it. LOL. I think that's fair. I told him I don't care how he keeps his room...but common areas like the kitchen, bathroom, and living room are to be kept clean...no excuses. If you spill it, clean it up.
I'm an easy going person but I'm a real bitch when it comes to a house. Don't leave your nasty hair on the sink when you shave, lift the toilet seat and put it back down afterwards, and keep the common areas clean. That's all I ask. Other then that do your thing. I meant for this blog to update you on my moving and ended up on a whole new subject LOL.
