I have just seen on the morning news that rental properties are set to increase in cost up to fifty percent over the next four years . This is just after many rentals have already been increasing with no real significant improvement to justify the hike . I have spoken to several people who complain of interfering and rude owners and land lords who do not respect the terms of a lease . Behaviour like turning up on your property without providing any prior notice . Notice that is clearly and legally required and stated in the terms of a lease .  No one wants to pay more for the same product or service . Surely if a cost increase is required then improvements are required . My personal experience of having to run the gauntlet of unprofessional and ignorant real estate agents in the attempt to get repairs done in my apartment has left me sour toward these bastards . They give less with one hand while expecting more with the other  !  Just like any conservative government  or chamber of commerce these property managers and the investors they represent expect greater and greater profits every year . Profits that they endeavour to accumulate whilst engineering increasingly decreasing costs to themselves .
