| Real estate agents and landlords .

Most of us at one time or another in our lives has to deal with a realtor or landlord . Either through the sale or purchase of properties or through the rental or lease of properties . In Australia the laws seemed designed to serve the home owner and the property manager . As a tenant you are treated like a second class citizen by some real estate agencies . They feel totally comfortable with acting like shabby lil' cunts to you and then take umbrage when you speak up for yourself . I will demonstrate with an example . I have for the past eight months requested that certain plumbing issues be taken care of in my apartment . Not one thing has been done about it by them . A plumber was sent to my place to get a quote on a job he never did but still charged the property manager for the call out . In a better kind of world I would have the right to yell at these numbnut fucks and tell them to get their fucking act together ! But if I do that they are legally entitled to call the police and maybe even have me evicted . At least when you sell a house or apartment if the sales team are crap you can tell them to jam it and take your business elsewhere . I think any industry or service were the customer is a captive audience and cannot vote with their wallet must be very tightly regulated . And this regulation must include the professional conduct of all the staff . I have been in too many realtors offices and felt like telling some shithead to work on their attitude . The minister for housing needs to start taking care of his portfolio .
