| Regarding 'suicide hits home'

My mom read that bulletin about Ken and the suicide incident and put it to my attention that the last bit didnt make a lot of sense, so I figured i would try and fill you all in.
So...
He killed his girlfriend, but his girlfriend was not my mother... even though she was.
My mom and Ken had a sort of... on again off again relationship and i guess at that time they were off again.
Though Ken was my moms knight in shining armor, and my mom was his angel... they had their times. She loved him enough to let him make up his mind about anything. She knew that if she loved him she had to let him go when he needed to be let go. and at that moment a woman from his past came back into the picture and he thought she was what he wanted at that time.
