| mmmm....Men in uniform....

Men in uniform....hmmmm......is it just me, or is there something......let's say "alluring" about men in uniform? Or downright "sexy" about them? 
What lead me to this blog? It was actually something very simple. Last week I went to the airport at some ungodly early hour to pick up my hubby from an overseas business trip. Yes, I am very happily married and couldn't wait to be wrapped in his arms again. But as usual, his plane was delayed by about six hours, so I found myself with all this free time on my hands. Nothing to do but drink coffee, read the newspaper, magazines, and of course shop........and people watch.
I love to people watch.....I find myself wondering whether they are married, where do they live, what do they do etc. Now it was while I was sipping my "skinny caramel latte", that I found myself watching a group of men close by. They had all just ordered their morning coffees and were waiting. They were a mix of ages, some around my age and some older........but they were all pilots.......dressed in their best and may I say looking somewhat....hmmmmm.....handsome? No that's not it, lets be honest, some were simply HOT! *LOL*
I was a little surprised as I thought about it, but I really have a thing for guys in uniform. Is it just me??? Am I alone in my way of thinking here? In my profession I work with a few guys in uniform......mainly ambulance officers and policemen. But nine times out of ten I find myself thinking quietly....mmmmm...not bad! Paramedics, policemen, firemen.... I wonder if it is the authority thing, the "hero" thing........I really do not know!
Now as a child I just loved the Village People. I remember at the age of about six lining up at a shopping centre when they came to the land of Oz, getting their autographs and having pictures taken with them. Felipe the indian, Alex the sailor, David the construction worker, Ray the traffic cop, Jeff the cowboy and Glen the biker. Ahhh...I remember them all and chuckle. But the one I loved even at that tender age was David , the construction worker........now his not in uniform!!!!
Where does my attraction come from? I have no idea! I have never dated any guys in uniform....and really outside of work I don't know too many. But I cannot deny the attraction is there. Oh well.........maybe I'll take a friends advice and go and buy my gorgeous hubby a firemans suit........or a police uniform.......or course with the handcuffs please.... :)

girl you're not the one. I love men in uniform. I think it has to do with the chiselled appearance and the neatness. Uniform really outlines the shape of a man and makes them look macho,authoritative, strong and organised. Dunno about you but I love that in a man! And for me I love a guy in a streamlined suit!

although I also love watching a man in an AFL football uniform, but maybe that's because you can see how much they "work out" ..

mmmm Uniformmmmmmmmmmm,
sorry mind went off somewhere else for a minute. I love a man ina uniform, espeically when they have to wear the dress uniform. I mean look at an officer and a gentleman, those white uniforms.
But I think alot has to do with the way the uniform sits on a guy too.
But no Kaybee you are not the only one, there are many of us around.
Did you know that a uniformed Male stripper is the most asked one to perform.

You are not alone! Whether they're pilots, mechanics, policemen I think they're hot, but fireman do something to me! At work our alarm went off and the fire officers came to check the building out. I've never seen me and the other girls in the office run so fast to the windows to get a glimpse of them!

I have to agree, men in uniform are very pleasurable to the eye! The "hero" look may have something to do with it, or the thought of them coming to our rescue...ahh we can all dream right and enjoy the view!

Further investergation is fine for me, I don't mind doing more research.
I know because one of my friends use to work for a business that booked strippers. She said that Policemen, Fireman, and Defence were there main request. Then followed by Cowboys, Indians, and Doctors.
Not sure why that fact has stayed in my brain after all these years. lol

My ex husband was in the US army. At times I'd see all the guys wearing these flight suits. For some reason these flight suits made everyone look like they were not wearing underwear. Also it seemed to make all the little butts look perfect.
I think most women are attracted by men in uniforms.
I does have to be a certain type of uniform. My husbands work uniform isn't very cute. Not that he isn't.
