| Should I stay or should I go?

My mom just called me to tell me about some job listings and rentals in Aspen. Yes, while I was at work.
I told her about my little meltdown with the boss last week and that BF wants to move up there, and now she's looking. They are hiring a mechanic at $45/hour. That would be for BF. And my old doctor has a receptionist that is pregnant and wants to be done February 1. That is the day our lease is up.
She found some cute townhomes. They are a little more, but we would both be making A LOT more. Plust I would be close to my family.
Downside, I would be CLOSE to my family. No ecscaping. No getting out of boring things because I live to far away. Also, it's a small town. There isn't much to do. Things don't stay open past 11pm. I think they finally just got a Target. So that's better than the crappy Walmart, but they are 45 min away.
I want to move back up there, but I don't. The area is so nice, I miss it all the time. But would I miss here? I have been here for 6 years? Granted a lot of it was shitty, but a lot of it was good. And do I want to move with BF up to Aspen when I am not even sure if he wants to be with me, or should I say is going to be with me. It's a big step. But do I need it?

Well K, if you are not sure if your BF wants to be with you, then the best place to be is near family right?
But on a brighter note, if he does want to be with you, won't a new location bring something new into your lives together?
Maybe he's in a rut where you are, and if he wants to move what have you got to lose?
Good luck which ever way go ... :)

I agree with E2S - - a change of pace might do both of you some good - - and if it doesn't happen to work out with BF, at least you will be close to people you love and in an area you love.
