| Rain, Paychecks and Big Foot

Yay Friday. 45 minutes until weekend freedom! Ta da! We're nearly there!
It's been raining all day. I have kept my sweater on since I got here. Last night, as I said in my last post, it was hailing at my house. Crazy loud. But crazy weather is sometimes fun, it's meant for cuddling! Thank goodness I have a blanket here at my desk, I have had it on my legs and feet all day.
Today is also payday for me which means, WOO HOO. That also means I have to pay some bills which means, BOO HOO, and we are back to broke. After work I am going to the liquor store, it's family weekend which means if you are a member you get an extra 15% off liquor and wines and 5% off beer. Yep, Sangria's here I come. I'm going to make you and drink you and love you while you are in my tum tum.
Has anyone else heard or seen the news story about the guys who found Big Foot? They apparently came across the large animal-thing sitting up against a tree in Georgia. It was already dead. Anyway, they have it in a freezer, I think they said it's like 7'7" and 500 something pounds. They were supposed to hold a press conference at 12pm in Palo Alto, CA and provide DNA proof it really is the Big Foot. They did find it in the area where there has been numerous sightings. Anyway, these two guys have a website, I can't remember what it is but they charge like $499 to go on a Big Foot hunting excursion. They also claim to be looking for lepruchans and the Lochness Monster.
I'm curious to know if it really is a big foot. I mean, the picture looked like it could be real, but they can make anything look like something else with photoshop these days. I also heard on my favorite radio morning show, JOHN JAY and RICH, that the picture was taken after they transported it, and it was still in the freezer but it had thawed out and the hair was all wet, making it look funny.
Any thoughts on if it really is Big Foot? Or do you believe it could be? They apparently have found an area where they think there could be a lot more of them. I don't know. Someone sent a report to some authorities claiming it was an ape that was taxidermied (is that right?) to look like big foot. I guess we'll see... it could be true.
Well, yay for the weekend. Tomorrow BF and I are going up to Denver to see my parents, they are going to one of their "Team" conferences, which they bought us tickets for so I guess we are going. They are also bringing down an old Mazda they are giving to BF. He said he'd rather drive a POS car than his so that he doesn't put so many miles on the nice one just driving back and forth to work. That means one more car parked in my driveway! I told him he HAD to clean out the garage. Since it's summer he works in there and it's a mess from working on the Harley, and you can't park a car in it. It is a one car garage, since we will now have three cars, I think at least one should be parked inside. $100 bucks says he doesn't do it. Any takers?
I think i'll spend Sunday for me. Housework and laundry of course, but I will not be spending any time in hospitals. So if you need a ride, don't call me. I want to veg and read a book or something! At least be home so this Sunday I can eat dinner!
I wish all you thoughtsters a happy weekend!
