 My Burn...
In case you would like to see, or you have any advice for me on taking care of this nasty burn here is the picture. I took it with my phone so if it's bad...sorry!

Yucky! And it's going to leave a nasty scar I am sure. What can I do to prevent that?

Oh, and BF said that is just so that I remember him for the rest of my life no matter what. I told him, don't worry, even if I have alzhiemers and I am insane and old, I will look at my leg and think "that bastard", to which he laughed pretty hard.

Anyways, it hurts. Help!

There you go. Then I can look like the slut who was flashing her chest this weekend. I'll get all hookered-up.

Soak in cold water, aloe or some kind of antibiotic cream. Sometimes butter takes the sting out. You'll know it's healing when it starts to itch. DON'T SCRATCH IT!. Lol.

Skirt on a Harley? I'm sure it looked sexy but obviously not safe.

OUCH!!! I did the same thing on a Harley, but burnt the inside of my ankle and F...K it hurt!!! And it was at a christmas BBQ for all the emergency department staff....great help they were...NOT! Get some recommended burn cream and cover it with a dry dressing, nothing that will stick....hope that helps :)

Hi KarKar - I had the very same burn from a bike pipe a long time ago. I kept it slathered in vitamin E cream and kept it covered. There's not a mark at all now. Man, that REALLY hurt! I feel for ya.

Like BootLady said, vitamin E cream is great. Was curling my hair back in the day and the curling iron slipped and burned my cheek. Put the cream on real heavy, and no scar.

Hugs

If you can find a real aloe plant, just break it open and slather it on.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I think I will get some Vitamin E cream and some aloe. I also heard that second skin stuff is good. I just don't want a stupid scar. And yes, I am aware that riding with a skirt on the Harley was stupid, EVERYONE has yelled at me. I will NEVER do it again I promise.
