Monday is here, well almost over for me.
We had a great weekend. On Friday night we went to blockbuster and got some movies. I made dinner and afterwards we watched the one about Roscoe Jenkins, I think it's Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins. It was funny. Not great. I wouldn't recommend it. In fact, numerous times throughout the movie BF said, "I hope this gets better soon," and I was thinking the same thing. The third time he said it I said just turn it off, but we were more than half way so he has to finish it. I could have turned it off. Whatever.
Saturday BF went to work for a little while, and I stayed home and caught up on my DVR shows. Yay for Libra being out of the Big Brother house! Sorry if I spoiled it, but I was really happy about that. Then we drove up to Denver to see my parents. They were at a concert. BF fixed the rear handle on my Dad's Sequoia, and my parents gave them an old Mazda. Actually, it's my old nanny's Mazda that my parents had helped her buy and its kind of beat up so they gave it to BF. He loves it, it gets great gas mileage and there are only a few minor things that can easily be fixed. So he has a new car. He is really excited about it. So, yay for him.
Sunday was a rainy day, a perfect day for doing nothing. Which is what we did. We started the morning off with cereal and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Then I told BF if he wasn't going to work, so he could make up hours, than he had to help me clean. So he vacuumed the whole house! You should hear me screaming when I type this! I couldn't believe it. He even offered, I didn't ask him. He also did a wonderful job! It was nice to have the help, since I do it every week! He also took out all the trash and picked up various socks and dog toys laying around. I usually also do this once a week. Anyway, I came into the living room and found him standing there with a goofy smile on his face. I looked down to see that he had vacuumed his initials into the carpet. Cute.
Anyway, it's Monday and LA is still on vacation until Thursday. I can't wait until she gets back. It will leave more time for me to blog. Then I can tell you all about the evil Home Owner's Association that is giving me hell....
