New Thoughts format is freaking me out! I'm starting to learn... but when I logged on this morning I was lost.
I like the new page layouts, I hope that there will be more choices in the future. Or a way to find new ones. I also like that it told me that some of my bookmarked people had posted new blogs. I just hate learning new things. I don't like change!
Anyways. Ugh for Monday. Usually LA has Mondays off so I was super disappointed when I pulled up this morning and her stupid car was here. I always like Mondays since she isn't here. I have Wednesday off, I got it approved a couple weeks ago, and I knew that since she was here that probably meant she was taking another day off this week. I quickly emailed my boss and reminded her I would not be in on Wednesday. When she got here I heard her walk up to LA and say, you can have tomorrow off but you have to be here Wednesday. Yep, I was right. She was planning on being gone Wednesday. This happens every time I take a day off. And since I have gotten back from Italy, I have only taken 1 day per month. That is for my doctors appointments, and every week I have one she pulls this. It's like she knows and wants to try and f*** up my week. Urgh!
This weekend was okay. Friday night BF and I went to our favorite little Mexican place for yummy food and sangria! It was delicious! Then we got a movie and went home. We didn't watch it though. Saturday BF went to work for a couple hours, I went for a run. I left my house at 10:00am and apparently it was about 100 degrees. I almost died! Well, not really but I was severly dehydrated when I got back. My poor little dog, everytime we ran by a tree he would find the littlest bit of shade and lay down. I had to carry him up the hill! Then I layed outside to work on my tan.
By the time BF got back I was starving. I made some yummy leftovers from the night before and we watched some of the X Games. Then I had to get ready to go to Dana's sons party. I got there at 4:30, just in time because he showed up at 4:45. There were too many kids and not enough alcohol. Well there wasn't any, but you know what I mean. I was joking with one of the moms that I should have brought some rum to spike the Capri Sun's with. She agreed. Now, Dana's son turned 13, when I got there I counted about 15 girls. Yes girls. And no boys. Apparently they are all his friends from Dance. He is part of a dance studio in town, and they are really good... just he is the only boy in his age group. I think right before he came 2 boys showed up but they hid in the corner behind their mom. I would too if I was a 12 year old boy in a room full of girls.
During the party BF texted me that his work friend decided not to go to Monster Truck Rally. I was going to leave the party early to go, we had all these plans with work friend and his family, BF had even seen him earlier in the day at work and he didn't mention anything. So I asked him if he still wanted to go, and he said he didn't care. I left the party and got home and it seemed to me that BF didn't really want to go. We talked about it and said, it would have been fun to go with friends, but since its just the 2 of us lets not.
So we didn't. Yep, I missed out on the Monster Truck Rally. Oh well!

just hang in there. you will love it once you get used to it. if you have any questions just post them in the forums. that way we can answer them and it might help other people as well

I know! I was all screwed up this morning as well! Change - bad. Ha! We'll get it...I hope.

I know. So sad that I missed it. I was totally looking forward to hanging with white trash! Just kidding! Really, I have never been so I thought it would be fun, but it was like $25 per ticket and I'm sure the beers would have been $10+ your left hand. Oh well, maybe next time!
