| Has anyone seen my finger?

This is going to be short...you'll see why.
It has been a very bad 2 days. Yesterday I had my Dr's appt, they took a lot of blood to test me for some things, including Lupus! Ugh! I won't find out for a couple of weeks so I am just going to pretend that didn't happen. I also found out that I need to go to the gyno to have a check for Endometreosis. I am not sure if I spelled it right. They are pretty sure that I have it, which means that I may not be fertile, or able to have children. I cried all the way home, and I don't think i even want kids. Take that away from a woman, thats asking for water works. Anyway, I go to find out on the 20th!
So then I get up this morning, not feeling well and I said to myself I should not go to work today, but I am broke and can't afford it. I got here, it was a normal morning, I was doing some things and I had to cut a page out with an exacto knife, and slice. There goes part of my finger, including nail. I freaked out, threw the chunk in the trash, I have now learned I should have put it back on and held it there. I couldn't get it to stop bleeding. LA was the only one here and she was on the phone. I started to feel sick and when she hung up I walked up to her and said "I think I need help. " I showed her my finger. We couldn't get it to stop bleeding, she called the boss and she said lock up and go to Emergicare. So she drove me there, were they put stuff on it to make it stop bleeding and bandaged it all up. Then they gave me a tetnis shot and told me to come back Sat morning.
It hurts and I feel dumb for cutting it. The doctor also told me that it might not look like the rest, meaning I may be missing a little since it won't grow back for sure. Gross. I have more to tell but its really hard to type! |

Ouch. What were you thinking, woman? Try to be more careful. And good luck with all the doctor stuff.

Take care of the finger.
I have 5 grandchildren that were said weren't possible due to endometriosis. So, dont be discouraged at this point.
Hugs

Awww Kars, Ouch honey. I hope you are feeling better... and well I hope all your test results come back positive ... um I mean negative. Sorry you know what I mean.
I hear you about the Endometreosis, I had a friend who was diagnosed with that at 28, but she was still able to conceive, Infact she had 4 kids!!! I think she only wanted 2 but she went further after the scare of thinking she couldn't.
HUGS and good luck to you Kars.
Have a great weekend.
