Ponder this. Why are we able to give others useful advice that works but we are unable to solve our own issues? How could it be? I am considered the problem solver by almost everyone I know. For some reason everybody I get to know tends to want to talk to me about their problems and solicit my advice. I don't ask people about their business. They volunteer it. I seem to be an expert with everyone else lives while mine is a train wreck waiting to happen. I can fix your car, budget your bills, get you a job, and repair your relationship. Why can't I do this for myself?
Are we incapable of running our own lives and need outside assistance? I find it funny because no one knows how screwed up my life really is. I don't open up to many people about my problems. It's really none of their business and I'm grown. Shouldn't I resolve my own issues? Isn't that what being grown up is all about?
