 Friday the 13th is wonderful!
I just spent the evening with a very kind, sweet, generous, gentle and amazing soul.  He loves animals, he loves this wonderous planet and he loves life and all that goes with living.  It is the best evening I have spent in almost two years.  I didn't have to cringe once!  I didn't have to worry about saying or doing the wrong thing, I didn't even have to worry about appearing stupid.  I was my complete and total, Queen of Dorkdom self and it was ok.  I got to laugh, be serious and relax.  Its been so long since I've felt this way... relaxed and happy, I think I almost forgot what it was like.
All our dogs ran around and played, explored the fields and grumped and growled at each other in the way dogs do and not once did I have to cringe because one of them "might" make too much noise, or dribble water on the floor or do something deemed too doggie-ish.  They got to be dogs and it was ok.  Even big old hairy Keesha got loved and hugged.  How wonderful it was... I can't begin to say how absolutely marvelous, fantastic, sensational, terrific, fabulous.... etc. this evening was, AND when we went into town to get something to eat... all the dogs got to come along!  Even more fantastic... because Keesha loved it and no one was there to pinch their face up at her.  It was more than I could ask for.  This whole evening was more than I could have dreamed... *smile*
So, I have to say thank you to this amazing soul who has come into my life and into Keesha's life.  I am so grateful we are friends and I look forward to the future... and all the possibilities it holds.
Celebrate Life everyone... each new day holds so many surprises we just can't imagine and within those surprises, is so much for us to enjoy.
