Why marriages and relationships generally fail

Why do most marriages fail? is it because 2 spoiled people used to doing what they want without regards to other people feelings taking a toll, the refusal to meet half way. Maybe because people actually think it's okay to cheat. Am I the only person who honestly never cheated on a signifcant other? Is it because we go into relationships with high expectations. Or people just run at the first sign of trouble? what do you think?

I simply think it's a matter of two people who rushed into something they thought they had to be/do discovering they acted a lil too soon. Also, I am starting to doubt the parameters of marriage. If so many are failing...maybe we need new terms.

My husband cheats and he still denies I am still fighting for the marriage and he wants a divorce. I am tempted of cheating to get back but just like you, I don't see that as a solution. I cant cheat.
