| Kicking Us When We Are Down. Anne Frank repeat?

Well, I have a postscript to add to my blog on the Modern Day Good Samaritan. Read My Blog. I believe that the thieves and robbers who existed from the beginnings of mankind are still out in force. You can add to the Good Samaritan story the thieves who will take advantage of someone who has undergone a disaster and steal them blind. Whatever is not bolted down...(oh, I guess they would probably take bolt cutters to that!!) locked up (they'd use a saw to cut through) or secured in some other way ....they simply feel that we don't have a need for it any more. And if it's out in the open, well, it must be free for the taking!
Just this week we have had tools ransacked from our completely upended garage, a trunk sawed open and contents strewn around the yard and who knows what else is gone? It was probably some idiot with no visible employment who has perennial garage sales with tools galore for sale who needed to restock his inventory. It is infuriating how people can kick you when you are down.
It's bad enough to have thousands of dollars worth of farm equipment damaged beyond use by a tornado, but then to have the scavengers and pirhanas move in and strip the rest away is absolutely gut wrenching.
Didn't Anne Frank express in her diary that she still believed that people were good at heart? Some of those "good at heart" people starved her to death!! My faith in people is getting stretched very thin of late. Very thin, and I doubt that it will spring back into shape anytime soon.

I don't know what you believe or how you believe but I believe we are near end times. God's word says people would all turn on each other and they are. People will be mislead and we are. It speaks of diasters and they are everywhere. It all makes me wonder just how much can be fixed???????
It takes one sick waste of a person to steal from people that have been hurt so badly! It makes me sick to see sick people take anything that was worked for by another person because they don't value a thing or know what it's like to work hard for something.
Yes I believe some good at heart starve people to death. I also believe the good at heart stave to death. I think we look to ourselves too much and don't trust in God enough. I'm guilty myself!
NOTHING makes sense to me anymore! I feel really defeated about almost everything right now! I can't imagine how you feel!!!!! My heart and prayers go out to you.
