To try and name one is hard so I am going to have to say I have 2.
The first was when I was 9, from a family memeber and it was book called "The Plum Rose Scroll". normally I would never scoff at books, but now in my 30's I still have trouble reading this book or even understanding it. It is half in english and have in chinese (which didn't have any translations), and what I could read didn't make any sense at all and still doesn't. And then to top it off, I was told when given the present that another memeber of the family who was a year older thought it was a fantastic book and read it one night. Give me Shakespear any day over this one.
The second present was when I was 12, my cousins on the Greek side of the family, gave me a rubber duck and soap. |

| I got a "body suit"- a tight, stretchy kind of t-shirt thing with a snap crotch, supposed to be worn underneath jeans/shorts. Hideous floral pattern and so not a good look. Apparently they were apparently big in the 90's. I never wore the thing.... |

| Oh my...worst gifts..lol. Ok, So the Christmas after my daughter was born, Nana was trying (I tell myself this everytime I think about this gift) to think of the recent changes and not buy me something that would be uncomfortable for me. After having my daughter I didn't wear a size 8 anymore, but Nana bought me a sweater that was a 3X..lol It fell all the way to my knees and the neck opening was almost as wide as my shoulders!! I returned that for a really cute black coat. |

hmmmm.... seems like there are more than a few that easily come to mind. It's a tie. One was a bottle of purple (true purple... think Barney) sparkle nail polish. I was 21 at the time, purple is the one color I generally hate, and I usually don't have any real color on my nails.
The second was a pair of Michigan State earrings. My extended family are all from Michigan, but my immediate family lives in Ohio. And it was while I was getting my degree from Miami University... also in Ohio. |

I have two:
One year my aunt gave us family hamper with all sorts of bits and pieces in it. I got a Beverly Hill 90210 diary from about 5 years earlier and a tape measure that only goes to a metre.
The second was a family Xmas at my parents house and all my cousins from my mums side were there. One aunt (who has never really like me for some reason) made a point of buying presents for every one of her nieces and nephews - except me. Mum got pretty mad at her for that. |
