I have come to thoughts like I do everyday sometimes even twice or more. I come here to say what I want to say when I want to say. But a lot more of the times I come to read what other bloggers are doing and saying. And I have a few that I go and check everyday. However what do I find today? Another fellow blogger who has decided to leave, their reason are there own, but in their goodbye blog alluded to the fact that some people on here decided that it was their right to be Judge, jury and hangman all in one. Basically due to their venom, they have decided to self sensor and leave. Not only to stop the anguish that these narrow mined people, have caused them, but because of all the poison that was being said. But yet there are people among us who prefer to lie, bully and make it down right horrible for people who just want an outlet.
So my question is when where we given the right to become so critical of other peoples lives, why do we judge people that we don’t even know on a personal level, but only through their words. Why do we class our self as knowing more than the next person?
WE DON”T!!!!!!
Everyone on here comes for their own personal reason, and we should all be mindful of that. And yes, give out comments when you have something to say, but do you have to dig the knife in and twist.
In the short time that I have been here, I have seen many leave, and some that I enjoyed reading about the happenings in their lives, or because of their wit or because their words comforted me in a way that I had to come back for more. I have become (I hope) friends with some and I hope to become friends with many more. But for that to happen people have to feel comfortable to stay and share. So just before you go to type those words of poison because what has been written doesn’t come into your realm of thinking, remember we are all different and are all here for our own personal reasons and we are human which does mean we do have a heart.

u kno, i've read alot of posts about this issue since i started blogging here.... the anonymity of it works on several levels. part of me wonders why people allow themselves to be so upset by a stranger's comment that they would go so far as to leave the site altogether. but it also allows strangers to be particularly nasty & brutal because they kno there will be no circumstances aside from maybe getting kicked off the site themselves if people complain enough.
i agree with u that we all need to respect eachother at the least. of course we won't always agree with eachother & that's ok...awesome even! but it most certainly does not give ANYONE license to be unnecessarily cruel.
voice your opinion. be honest. debate. argue. whatever ur heart desires...but there's no need to rip others apart for no good reason, no matter how much ur beliefs/ideas may differ.
'can't we all just get along?' ;o)

foxx_flie...I second that sentiment. And KP, you are right on the money. Theres alot of unneccessary cruelty, bigotry and down right arrogance going around and decent people are suffering at the hands of people who do not know them. Often people who are vulnerable too. There's a definite air of negativity, and I found myself getting wound up and drawn into such a blog just today, where normally I would not get involved.
I wish people would just think before they post. Presenting an opinion is one thing...presenting that opinion as fact is something else entirely.
