KP, there are a few shops which sell a kit to set up a worm farm.
They are not overly expensive, small and hopefully airtight!!
Good luck, it could have been worse though, he may have wanted a cow, sheep, horse, bull, rooster......
In desperation, he could always dig in the back garden, ahhh aren't kids gorgeous! |

KP - my dad has a worm compost! My kids think it is great... and Miss 8's school has worms in their garden. She told me proudly how the other day she got the job of transferring the worms and she wasn't grossed out at all by them.... maybe you should invest in a worm farm, hey there's a blog waiting to happen... 101 reasons why a worm farm is better than ... a cat ... a dog ... a bird!!
They eat dirt, no need to clean their litter tray, they won't run away, they won't get hit by a car, they won't fight with your neighbours cat, they won't .....
Oh you get the picture.
Good luck with that one! |
