Here is a fact you may not be aware of but translate La Cucaracha, and you have “the Cockroach”. I won’t go into the actually meaning of the song, but you would be surprised, and no it has nothing to do with the pesky pet, but lets just say next time someone is smoking pot, start humming the song.

Opps have strayed a bit here. Ohhh yeah back on to the subject.

I HATE COCKROACHES.

Come to think of it I hate most creepy crawly’s. Give me a flame thrower any day to get the pesky things. Yes I know all creature great and small, but bugs, insects, spiders, and any other icky thing gives me the heebie geebies, and well cockroaches yuck yuck yuck.

So in January we move in to our now home, and I am surprised as what people seem to think as clean. The real estate guaranteed me that the place was clean; you should have seen this place when we inspected it.

Of the track here a bit, but if you are having open house inspections most people spend the time to make the place respectable, but no not here. Toys had been left in the middle of the floor. I actually think my husband broke one when he tripped over it. Dirty laundry was left all over the floors in the bathroom, bedrooms and laundry. Not to even talk about the awful smell coming from the laundry. In the kitchen the grease splattered against the back wall where the stove was (shiver at the image in grained in my mind). Rotten food left out on the benches. I think you get the picture. And if we went on that we would never have took the place, put I saw over or under all that, and could see a reasonable place. It just seems the family preferred living in a hovel. And I thought they would clean it before they left.

Well of course no, it hadn’t been cleaned, and according to the real estate agent it was. So a little mad at this to say the least, considering the hoops we had to jump through at the place we just left, I was in no mood to start. So I was going straight for finishing this. So after ringing the real estate I gave them the option, clean the house or I will put in a complaint with the real estate tribunal. So needless to say a cleaning crew was around the very next day.

Of course they did a good job, but like most females we can do better. So even after they had gone I re did a few things (to my liking).

Don’t get me wrong I am not a super clean freak, I don’t spring clean the house every week. But I do know that my house is clean and is always ready for those unexpected guest to knock on the door any minute. Granted at times the kids don’t help but they are still learning. And as for hubby he has learnt it is my way not his.

So not long after we move here and things are a little better (cleanliness). I see a cockroach. I am not happy, and then I think well maybe because I have just taken the Hilton a way from them they are packing their bags and leaving. So I don’t get too pissed off about it. So a few sightings later and then nothing. So I think okay the problem is gone.

BUT WAIT NO.

Those pesky invested creepy crawlies have come back and now I am not happy.

So to any cockroaches out there beware of me I will get you. And to the pest controller hurry up and get here.
