Moving around in circles they watch the digger play
Abrasive and without give, it’s tearing up the clay
Carrying bits of rubble the area’s getting cleared
Humming and rattling the truck changes to low gear
In comes the Mixer, the drivers name is Bert
New ground is laid the kids all cheer, they know what’s coming next
Even the workmen smile at the new playground complex
