Wow what a day at school I had today. I was dragging my feet to go, as I am a bit bored at school and I feel it isn’t challenging me. So I spend some of the time wasting it because of this. I need something to keep me challenged.
So anyways I head off and arrive all is well, I do some work, I help out a few who are having trouble I talk with the teacher and then it is time for morning tea. Have the compulsory coffee to keep me going on for the next few hours and then back to it. So as you can see not much happening in the first half.
Second half; I thought something was up when not only did the teacher come back from morning tea but also the principle of the school and one other teacher as well. All looking official. They sit down and the teacher announces to the class that she will be finishing up with us, when the school holidays start. She has accepted a new position and felt she was unable to knock it back. She doesn’t like doing this as she would have preferred to follow through to the end, this offer is valid now and not at the school years end. Then we are introduced to who will be taking over the class after she will be gone, hence the second teacher.
The principle then talks about a few things that will be happening at the school, which may interest us, and goes on to explain about a new course that may be coming available and that there will be a pilot run of the course and if anyone is interested to please speak with her. This course will be free due to the fact it is a pilot course, however the downfall is that if they don’t get certain funding the course may not continue.
The she talked about a workbook that they needed typed up. And she was offering it to someone in the class to do. No one offered.

And on top of that I am being payed to do it. I will also be getting a reference too for doing this, all added bonuses. Once we had gone back to our work I excused myself and went and spoke with the principle about it. Apparently the teacher had recommended me to do it in the first place but wanted to open the offer to anyone else in case I didn’t.
The draw back is that it has to be done by Thursdays.
Not that I am complaining have started it as soon as I got home, about a quarter away through it already. Just having a five minute breather, so I thought I would quickly write this up.
