| An Apple for the teacher |
HI all I am back.
Well I did skulk around the halls of thoughts a few times while I had my exams; I just kept having withdrawals without you guys.
Well where do I start okay I guess I will start with my exams considering they having been a big part of my life for the last two weeks. I didn’t manage to do them in the one week that was allocated due to an extremely painful pinched nerve in my neck and some very high powered drugs for the pain and such. Anyways they are all done and neck is on the repair.
I am at times not a very patient person so I was anxious about my results. Therefore I made a deal with the teacher and if I helped her mark some of the exams she would mark mine straight away. Which we did: So I am pleased to say that I passed. I did 6 exams with and average of 97.3% I am really happy with my results.
However in saying that I am also struggling with the ghost of past (meaning my mother), and as some of you may have read in past post, she wasn’t the most encouraging mother, more the one that would criticize for 2.7% I didn’t get and focus on that. I was discussing this with a fellow blog and mentioned this was the first time I could say to her to Free Up Cats and Kittens without feeling guilty about it. So I just have to remember to focus on the excellent job that I did do.
So what now you may ask well another six months of schooling and then all this hard work will pay off.
Earlier on in the year I was offered a great opportunity from the school I am attending. They had just lost a teacher and were in need of another for the 2009 year. The teacher recommended me for the position. So with some extra classes and getting the right certificates I will soon be teaching theses classes that I have just taken. I already have great support now. And the bonuses are I get to have school holidays off so I can be with the kids. I will also be teaching a maximum of 15 students, mostly adults who are looking for a career change or to update the qualifications. I will be teaching a total of 15 hours a week with a 2 hour prep time.
