Waiting To Be Scared Half To Death
This blog is highly depending on all of you fellow bloggers out there. Because the people in my life are no help at all. It's not exactly their fault, just their preference is different to mine.
Of all the things in the world, I'm talking about movies.

I love horror and thriller flicks. Maybe it's all about the suspense because seriously, who actually enjoys seeing blood splattered against a wall for the hundredth time? I'm not anti-blood, it can sort of add a bit of reality to the movies situation or storyline, but a true horror movie in my eyes doesn't require the unnecessary amounts of blood and gore that most of them have. This is probably why I prefer thrillers over horrors. Thrillers seem to play more on suspense and the psychological aspects which in the end provides me with more enjoyment.

But enough said. Because I need the help of anyone reading this. Over all the years of watching scary movies, I've never ever found one that has managed to make me scream. Or even come close. It's not that I wouldn't be one to scream, but no movie has ever seemed to be able to trigger that in me.
So, my question is, what is the most scariest movie you have ever seen?? Or maybe a friend has told you their scariest, please leave a comment and let me know, because I'm sure there is a movie out there that will scare me half to death.

I have seen some of the goriest movies ever made.A few banned in many countries. They may be traumatizing but only due to the graphic nature. There are only two movies that ever made me feel so scared I couldn't sleep. The first being Poltergiest,I saw that when I was about 8.The second being The Ring.I saw that as an adult and ended up in bed eyes wide open with the light on.

this will be easy for me to comment on,but also hard because i am the horror king.although,as much as i love horror movies i don't find them scary, but rather fun.so, i am not sure how scary i can lead you ,but i can certainly point you into the directions of some good ones.i love a good atmospheric bloodless fright fest, but i gotta admit most of the movies i truly enjoy are gorier ones.still, i can go either way and i will do my best to hook you up here with some good suggestions .....some are more well known and maybe you have seen them, but i figure if i give you a healthy list here something will be bound to catch your fancy .....phantasm,exorcist 3,suspiria,texas chainsaw massacre, high tension, inside, scarecrows ( aka paratroopers),city of the living dead (aka gates of hell) , the beyond, blood on satans claw, twins of evil, hands of the ripper, the boogeyman(1980 film! not the new film!),legend of hell house, let's scare jessica to death, trilogy of terror(3rd story with the voodoo doll is the best one),don't be afraid of the dark, evil dead.these are the ones that come to mind right now.some of these are a little gory, but i don't think any of them will traumatize you.maybe inside if you plan on getting pregnant anytime soon.by the way, if you ever do want some disgusting gory movies that will sicken and traumatize you please do feel free to ask.also, you mentioned thrillers, once again ....if you want some good thriller suggestions, please feel free to ask.hope at least some of these work for you.

Thanks heaps so far guys, I'll be sure to pick quite a few of these up. And BungleGrind, you really do like horror movies! :) I'm now set with a good selection. Don't know if you'll get this message, but I'd love some good thriller suggestions!

If anyone is still willing to post their scariest movie, feel free... But I have discovered what manages to scare me most. I'm surprised it took me so long to realise, but maybe it was because I've never experienced the movies that really scare me. Dinosaurs. Fake or realistic, they do scare me half to death. Jurrasic Park, it's got to be one of the most scariest movies I've ever seen. Lol. It seems weird and a little silly (seen as though they no longer exist), but hey, that's my scariest movie, but I still love it. :P
