I spent the last weekend in the mountains doing such things as hiking, swimming, rafting, and just simply enjoying the mountain air. If only people could get away from it all, and take a breather. It's true that American society runs full throttle. In the work place, in schools, or just in everyday activities. There doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day. Children spend all day at school then all night finishing homework, adults work overtime and base their lives on work. We never slow down to enjoy the simpler pleasures in life. If we slow down maybe we will finally realize that we have time to do all the things we wish to do. This is not to say that everyone does such things, but society promotes 24 hour work days.
This weekend I turned off my cell phone, computer, pager, T.V, video games etc. and I felt like I could finally take a deep breath and truly enjoy it. My stress levels went down and I had an amazing time. The exercise and fresh air calms you in a way that no man made devise can. Granted of course there are many people who are just not the outdoors type, which is understandable, but I suppose the exercise and the escape from our bustling schedules can do everyone some good.

This is nice. Makes me want an escape right about now... you have some good points; slow down, smell the roses, get away...
It's all good.
Hope you're going well.
