Acidification of our Oceans
Yesterday I watched a TV program about the acidification of our oceans.  This is the cause of our coral reefs dying as coral excretes limestone and limestone cannot survive in acidity.

I am concerned about marine flora and marine life in general but I feel that humanity in its infinite quest for progress is actually killing itself and everything around it.  .

Thankyou for your comment. If nuclear waste is dumped into the ocean it will be terrible. People who live near nuclear powerplants i.e. Chernobyl have a very high incidence of leukemia and cancers. What will it do the fish, whales. In time everything will perish. Combine that with the melting of the icecaps and the earth will suffer a double disaster.
