| Costa Rican days 2 |
the mid day heat seems to get more powerful as the days go on - early mornings are lovely - sunny, warm, breezy and delightful- mid day is sunny, too hot , windy and not so delightful-
evenings are lovely too- last night we had an early dinner on the top of a 4 story building - you can see everywhere - across the water, across the sky - an early quarter moon hangs very close to the balcony -lights glitter below and above- food - Lebanese - very ,very good..
No air conditioning so it was just us and the night....
the other thing that I like here besides the sun, the sand and the sea, is that there is such a wide variety of people- immediate neighbors are Israeli, Italian and Argentinian as well as a few Costa Rican and Canadian.
the 14 inch lizard that was making its home in the yard sadly lost its life today - a very hungry cat pounced. the law of the jungle I guess. I am not usually present for the demise of another living creature - sometimes I understand vegetarians.
