This is my first time here and I'm wondering if any of you share in my belief in a living and loving personal God. I am a Christian and have been growing in my knowledge and experiential relationship with Jesus and I have a passion to share whatever spiritual insights I receive in my journey with the Lord to eternity.
Am interested also to hear from you to strengthen my faith.

My faith in Christ for this past while has been failing, as I know he is there and I love him with all my heart. I have done bad things that have pulled me away from God, and I am not as humble as I once was.
Everyday is a battle for me, I go to sleep unhappy and I know I need to change my ways.
I was doing good for a while there, and I felt God with me, every step of the way. But since my sister left, I became angry and hated myself, I tried to hurt my body. I feel God's pain that I cause him.
I am trying to change.

Thank you, Sunshinelafoy. Thank you for your comments here in another post I had.
I guess, it's a real grace that the Lord gace you -- amazing realization that you had a little experience of how God might have felt for your moving away from God. I'll remember that. You see, my normal tendency is to just sulk for a while until it goes away. Now, I think I found another way of looking at it.
