 Fire
There are sides of me I keep locked up
deep within made up of burning rage and
evil sin. Locked away never to see the light
of day. They are emotions with a harmful
intent that seek to escape after every tempt.
I keep it all contained to save others from a
great deal of physical or emotional pain.
I really am harmless and kind until
someone fills me with rage causing
me to go blind. It takes a lot to get me
mad so don't push me or else you'll wish
you never had. My animosity, hate, and
rage remain dormant in their cage.
I still stay on guard even though it's so
very hard.

goodto see you again, Jose.. rage is addictive.. it feeds on itself.. you begin to need that Adreniline rush.. it must be treated as an addiction. if this is just angst, Okay..but if you do become violent.. or it becomes more frequent.. seek help. there is no shame in this..

It's good to see your comment Mike. I don't like to hate but when I do I tend to say and do things I don't mean. It's very rare for me to reach that boiling point so I don't need to seek outside help. I will seek it if I really need it. I know many other ways to get an adreniline rush without violence or rage.

This is very good.
I enjoy poems that explain who a person is.

A perfectly peaceful person can suddenly become violent and disillusioned because his inside self is so very unhappy, and tired of being so. Stop it at the source, and you will find the cure to many mental ailments.

And yet, fire is so mesmerizing, isn't it? Why not respect this piece of yourself; save it for a time it will be of good use? A selfless use...

(Sorry if I am not so clear as usual; I am in a mood. I blame your choice in music. Hehe.)

I forgot to mention that my rage does die out eventually when it's contained. I just developed great self control is all. I exercise and have fun to relieve stress and anger. Sometimes stress contributes to anger but I keep my cool. Right now I'm calm and peaceful.
