| Fallen and Crushed |
Who is this person I see whose beauty has attracted
me? From a distance I stare as she reads into her
book so calm and unaware. I've felt this way before and
it's something my feelings can't ignore. The heart
beats faster while my palms break a sweat. I lose
my breathe as if I was staring at death. I'm not going
to die cause I know this is me being shy. We still don't
know each other but I plan to talk to her one way or
another. Every time I close my eyes I find an image
of her in my mind. My emotions are in a stir while my
heart is telling me to man up and just talk her. I'm
ready and all I have to do is take it slow and steady.
