We had a wonderful time in Arnes with some great friendships made - it was sad to leave such lovely people but I would never want to wear out my welcome so we moved onto Nittedal. Today we visited Wurth, which would make any of the men in my life jealous as they had some fantastic tools - and they also had a beautiful art gallery. We also visited with the local newspaper and we will be in the paper on Friday and across the street we had a nice visit with the mayor of Nittedal. We had a few hours to rest before a fantastic dinner and visit with some of the Rotary members. The time off was well spent visiting with Garry, Lori and the girls - I was sorry to hear about my El Dog and hope that he is going to be well - Holly, hang in there you are almost done and when I get home we will celebrate your completion of the course. I am off to Oslo tomorrow to see some sights and then I am being treated with an evening at the Ballet. I must close for now as it is a busy day tomorrow.

Hey Joan;
It was good to chat with you this am. Elliot is doing well. He had surgery at 2 pm and when I called at 3:30 was still in recovery. I'll keep you posted as to how he is doing. Have fun in Oslo. Garry

Give Elliot my love and best wishes - hope you guys have a great day and I hope Lori had a good night's sleep she looked quite tired yesterday. I will try and chat with you tomorrow - we are in Oslo all day today and we won't be home til late - well it might be early out your way so I may try around 4 or 5 your time.
