If today is Wednesday, I must be in Moss. We arrived yesterday morning in Moss which is about a 30 minute commute from Rade. We spent the day at Oscarsborg which is a fortress in the middle of a fjord. Our tour guide was wonderful - giving us a descriptive history of the fortress. We went through secret tunnels and even got to go into the torpedo chamber which was beneath a large rock hill - I was a little nervous walking through this rock tunnel and the thick doors separating each chamber. The weather was great - again and we had dinner with our host families and at 1900 we were once again giving our presentation to the Jeloy rotary club. We enjoyed visiting with them and learning about eachother. Today we are off to a few places in Moss - one of which is the Konventiongarden (where the treaty between Norway and Sweden was signed. I am still overwhelmed by the history in this country. The Jeloy Rotary Club met in a building which was built in the 1700's - if those walls could talk. Anyway, I must run - looks like we may have some rain today which may be a welcomed relief - keeps everything green and our skin soft LOL.
