London and Paris will be unforgettable - the Eifel tower is a very romantic and special place - especially with soldiers wandering around with AK47s. I believe I got approximately 10 hours sleep in the 4 days that we were there but it was worth the exhaustion.
Getting home was a different story, we arrived on time in Seattle and Mary and I sat in the airport and had a beer or two while we waited 6 hours for our flight back to Victoria. We treated ourselves to a 30 minute back massage and to be honest I have had better back rubs for free. My back promptly seized back up within moments picking up my 500 pound back pack filled with 20 pounds of chocolate.
At 2245 we boarded our plane and sat there for about 20 minutes - unfortunately we had a broken plane and we needed to change gates and change planes - the time is now 2330 and the new plane needed fuel which took almost 30 minutes to get the fuel truck to show up. Finally we were in the air and my head was falling off my shoulders but we arrived safely by 0130 and I eventually got home at 0300 and had to be up for 7 to get to a first aid class in Duncan - all is well and I am heading to Vancouver for 4 days work.
Would I do it all over again - YES in a heartbeat. This has been a life changing experience and I can't wait to see what is in store for the rest of my life.
Thanks for reading...see ya around
