Great day for a flight - too bad I didn't get there on time. I did have a great chat with the Chief and some of the crew as both ground and air share the same building. I had a tour of the building, I was shown the day room, kitchen, meeting rooms, tanning bed room - yes - I saw it - it was a tanning bed complete with a full gym with a few treadmills, tons of weights, ping pong, big screen tvs throughout, work stations and the list goes on and on and on and on.
I went for an awesome run through the cross country ski trail today - I think it was about 4 kms through the trail - it was a great run however it was full of roots, rock and mud that I had to navigate my way through but I didn't fall and my music was loud so I couldn't hear anything but my most favourite songs, the sun was shining, the lake I came across looked tempting but because I was alone I figured I had better not - what a great afternoon.
Tonight it is a BBQ on the patio of my host family and they have been busy working and preparing for it. I have offered to help but they insist I enjoy the sunshine - didn't have to twist my arm.
Well it will be off to the next town tomorrow and we will see if I have access to internet or not - take care all,
