Well, with reference to my last post...
Today I got my phone stolen. This was really really annoying. Basically what happened was that I was getting changed in the changing rooms at the gym- having a little natter to the women that were in there too- as I usually do.
I sent a text to my friend Davina and then put my phone in my bag before going to the shower. On the way out of the gym I went to see if she had replied and found my phone missing. We called it, and the nasty person who nicked it had taken the sim out.
What is this apart from evidence that we are all just down right terrible people and need Jesus!!! so... I went to the phone shop and got the phone blocked and as I was just beginning to get a bit panicky and annoyed with myself Ben Haper's song (MY THEMETUNE!!!) came on.
God is good, just when I neede Him, He reminded me that being organised, being in contact with people, having possessions just does not make me happy. Being in the Son does..
Tonight it is the first of the just 10 missions events. I asked a couple of people and am really excited that they are coming. Just praying that God keeps the way clear from obstacles or distractions, and that they have open hearts to Jesus.
