Love is like an ocean.
The water offers a way to travel.
A way to escape from reality into your own world as the soft waves gently caress you.
Yet the water can either offer peace and comfort, or the opposite.
Oceans can easily lose control and drag you under it's current, drowning you in it's insufferable darkness.
Also, like the ocean, love teases.
Just as the waves come to you, the water beckoning you with gentle tendrils of hands, it pulls away, drifting farther and farther away from you than it was from the start.
Tsunami's, drownings, shark attacks.
All are clear warnings to heed before taking a dip in the oceans of romance.
