I got to spend some time with one of our elders this morning. I had asked him to lead one of our summer topical small groups and we went to Indianapolis to look and touch real life studies. It wasn’t the picking of the study that was rewarding, it was the two hours spent in the car talking about life, faith, and culture. As a pastor, there is no better use of our time then spent having spiritual conversations with leaders.
Let God be your guide to the summit and religion be your restroom. Religion is a very useful indicator that we need more than wordly goods, the drawback is, that religion, is manufactured.
