I used to cut, it was the only way to get the demons out..I've grown up since and you will too. I have tattoos over the cuts now, they remind me of all the crazy days that happened, how stupid I was then. Trust me, time heals EVERYTHING. Get a creative hobby, it's better for you and you just may make a living from it.

have you looked beyond yourself to a higher power for help?
I believe that I could never have got helped had I never searched for a higher power
I go into the sweatlodge
I take sage and light it and give thanks for my life
because somewhere someone else has it worse
I asked myself
what can I do for others?
so by getting out of myself and smelling the fresh air I found peace
by helping others
by being an ear for another hurting soul
life is beautiful
even in the hardest of times
I knew an old man who used to stand outside and stare into the clouds
I asked him why he did this
his answer was
because, you see young man
sooner or later the sun will break through

Don't do it. Stop this.

I would encourage you to seek help from a pastor of a church nearby where you live.

I know what self-punishment is like. I did this to myself before and I almost froze to death trying to walk 14 miles in wintry weather.
