hi jas,
it's good that you recognise that there is a problem and that sort of behaviour is def not healthy. perhaps there is something you can do about it on your own like speak to someone at school (i'm assuming you are young) or maybe there's a local clinic that could direct you to where you might get some counseling. in any case, i strongly advise you to do something about it so that you can start to feel better about yourself.
...good luck.
cheers! |

| Thanks. Theres times I want to stop and times I feel like its the only thing helping me. Currently I have no one to talk about it with. I have a mental hospital near me, but I cant go there by myself. I have no way of getting there without alerting my parnets. They will get alarmed and than do nothing about it just like last time. |

ok...i understand that you feel like it is the only thing 'helping' you, but how can such a destructive things really be a help?
i'm sure that if you think about it there must be some options...there almost always are! how about calling the local police and and asking about available social services or crisis lines for young people? or maybe if you phone the hospital then they could recommend something to you over the phone. the thing is to start looking for possibilities and actively search for a solution because sometimes the solutions don't come knocking at your door!
...good luck again!
cheers! |

poor Jaz.
go to a school counselor or someone who can help you.
i've been there myself, and somehow got out of that hole alive. I redirected the pain from emotional to physical, which i'm guessing is what your doing to yourself too.
try and redirect it somewhere good, like art, or music.
just talking to someone you relate to helps alot too.

| I agree with Phoebe, a school counselor is a good place to start or a trusted adult. You're not alone. |

ya should go to a school counselor or ya should go into a support group with ppl who do the same thing. Sometimes we often destruct ourselves to deal with our extreme pessimistic moods and saddness inside. Ya should find alternatives to pleasures beside cutting but its hard said then done.

Hey there...I think you should try to find an anonymous crisis line in your area (won't show up on your phone bill). Do an internet search or call your local hospital.
Also, please take care of yourself with appropriate would care and sterile blades. You could also try snapping elastics bands on your wrists which may help you to feel better but cause less harm. |
