| OMG, I'm so out of it |
Oh man, I haven't written in forever. How horrible. Hopefully, I manage to stay on this time.
But at least I have tons to write about it.
1st of, the green card thing totally worked out. I got approved on Jan 15th, I got my papers on the 26th, and on march 9th, I flew over to DC. It was a very fun and scary time, but I think, it will work out well. I love DC and the US, so for now, I'm ok with livingi here :)
Will I stay here forever? I don't know, guess we will find out later.
And let me tell you, my green card is NOT green, its acutally yellow.
So, I've been here for about 2 months. I partied for St. Paddy's day and I'm back at playing kickball again. Though I just switched team from my own team to a friends one. Somehow my team is just nuts and it was just getting too much for me.
I hope, I'll be happier with the new team, but time will tell.
I'm also finally working. First I had some trouble finding a job, and it wasn't an easy time and I didn't want to be a nanny. So I applied at this cute little boutique in DC, they have two, one in dupont and one in georgetown. They hired me and I love it! It's so much fun.
I'm still babysitting and might look for a part-time nanny job, but for now I'm happy with what I have.
But I really love DC. A few weeks ago, on national pillow fight day, friends and I went to dupont circle and they had a huge pillow fight. It was so awesome. I've never had so much fun in my life.
I can't wait for all the scanventnure hunts to start. And there more fun things coming up with kickball. I have this feeling, that this summer is just going to be awesome!!!
