This is a poem I wrote about my current boyfriend, John.

Things are lonely sometimes,
Things are hard to find,
Things can be anything,
Anything on your mind.

Things can tear you down,
Things can make you frown,
Things can dig right deep inside you,
And throw you on the ground.

Things can make you smile,
Things can be your style,
Although there’s nothing more than you,
That makes a thing worthwhile.
