than meets the eye
the rising sun
starts every day
a chance at a
new start
but with every day
the past still remains
it can not be forgotten
each dawn holds
past
present
future
always shining bright
hiding the past
never letting go
but none can see
just what it holds inside
for every time you get close
you get burned
it sees all
it remembers all
it can't let go
it never will
starting every day new
but still holding the past tight
