 My Movie Philosphy
I wanted to drop a line to let everyone know my movie philosphy...

I'm a forty something guy - I was raised in the 80's with slasher films - Big Hair - Movies that included the first Saturday Night Live Cast that are now considered classics - It was a time of big hair, metal music and Hammerjacks in Baltimore was the ultimate bar experience - The Colts still ruled Baltimore and the Orioles were the team in the East to beat - There was no inter-league play

Movie Horror - Included Jason, Freddie and Michael Myers -  Great Stuff and as stated I'm huge into Halloween - I've met a Michael Myers and Jason at the Horror Conventions - We also had Creepshow and George Romero's Dead Movies (Met him last year)

Comedy - Was usually about losing your viginity or Saturday Night Alums - Animal House and Stripes

Action - Indy Jones, the first Star Wars movies, Romancing the Stone, Dressed to Kill, Die Hard

This is my background - I don't like movies that hit you over the head with messages - I don't drop $8 plus bucks to have a message drilled into me - I like action -horror and comedy - Not necessarily in that order Don't preach or try to teach me deep messages - If I want that I'll read up on the issue not hear spin

I don't like comedians that think they are bigger than the movie - I like Jim Carrey and Robin Williams movies - but in many scenes these two have a tendency to think they are bigger and more important than the movie and they begin "wacky" improv and a poor actress has to "sell" this wackiness by laughing (Exaggerated) at it - I like their movies but at times I'll reference this type of activity to clue you into an actor overshadowing everything for their ego (i.e. Doing a Jim Carrey)  I like them but at times it does take away big time

This gives you a clue as to where I'm coming from - read my reviews - I hope I help - They will be short and sweet - they won't give away plot points and ruin the movie or give you details on movies you don't need - I've just read a review by someone (won't mention names) that gave away the plot and gave you a history of a bunch of people that worked on the film - Who has that kind of time - Remember I'm a Family Guy -  If you like my history or match it in your life maybe my reviews will help -

If you see the types of movies I like and you've seen movies you think I'll like - Drop me a line and let me know - I'm always in the mood for some popcorn entertainment - I had a guy clue me into a movie called Clay Pigeons with Vince Vaughn last week and it was really good - never heard of it before that - so I always could use a swerve too

Just a little note to the People Out in the Blog Universe - Hope someone listens

By the way the O's rocked again at the Yard this week
