| Younger man, older woman.

I find myself wondering why there is such a thing as cougar. Why do they have to have a term for it? When older men date younger women they don't have a name or labelled as something. But when women do it then there has to be a name.
I guess maybe some ppl like that or whatever, but I don't. It just reminds me how there is still such a double standard.
I think age can matter. I know also that each person is an individual and that some may be more mature than others. And that goes for both genders.
Of course too, there is a fine boundary between being a pedophile, so lets not all go to that conclusion.
What i wanted to express was more of the, when we are all adults...no sick weirdo going for some 14 year old or something lol.
I am struggling here. I am dating a younger guy....and man..honestly I am scared. I hold myself back a lot, bc in the back of mind I think about all the obvious reasons.
I just don't know. I want it to be exactly how the picture has been painted..but I just don't know. Perhaps thats just risks one take in any relationship regardless of age. I know i am being very vague here. I just can't bring myself to say more.

thats the same situation I'm in. I'm dating a younger guy but he acts surprisingly more mature than some older guys I've dated. But its always at the back of my mind when we're together; will he get tired of me and go for younger women? Will he be mature enough to meet my needs? He is 4 years younger than me and thats a lot right? Dunno how to handle it.

People are going to look at you and judge you no matter what you do.... it's how you handle their judgement that matters. You can smile it off, be happy, and show them that they are dead wrong. Or you can react and then they will go... ahh see I knew it... I am thinking that there is so much crap floating in the world now that we have to allways keep on our rain coats so that we can wash it all off and just keep right on doing!!
